Besides it’s main role as an identity card, the IC has Touch ‘n Go built into it, also making it a stand-alone TnG card. Not only for parkings, it can also be used for payments at tolls and transit.
However, some parking payment machines fail to detect it therefore still making a TnG card an essential everyday carry.
