Some car parks–only some–have a pre-authorization amount or also known as a temporary hold amount as you entered the car park. This is in spite of you entering and leaving the car park within the stipulated grace period. The amount is not the same everywhere. RM1, RM5, RM10 and RM20 are the common figures.
This amount is not to be sceptical or be shocked about. It is actually quite similar to the RM20.00 minimum Touch ‘n Go balance requirement for entering a car park. The amount will be credited back to your bank account as soon as possible.
